2012 road map data will be released late summer and we will upgrade maps on request as per below:

For customers purchasing the current map now, we will offer an upgrade to the 2012 maps, which will only cost you the difference between the two. 

The new 2012 Road Maps, besides including the most up-to-date data will also contain premium TomTom Points of Interest, enhanced routing and faster rendering.

(As a rough guide, the retail price price of the current map is approx 50-60% of the upcoming 2012 map price.)
